What do I love about my wife?
A process in self discovery and love by me, Dave.
The quest: answer the simple question - what do I love about my wife?
What do I love about her - well, that is simple. She is simple, optimistic, head-strong yet willing to compromise on some things, and completely capable of driving me crazy one moment to turn around and make me love her all over again the next. She is an amazing person to me. She has provided for us when I couldn't and I have as well when she couldn't, but, we always strive to provide equally for the family unit. She is beautiful - I have always loved her eyes, so communitive and yet virtual mirrors as well, reflecting back at me - and shining with love for me, despite my obvious and blatant faults. She has other physical assets that I desire, that is one aspect of a relationship, but not the only aspect, and yes, I desire her physically. When we do love, we share each other - making it a mutual effort to please and not one or the other partner's responsibility. It’s the mental fascination we share together that has kept us together now for 15 years, (and 10 years this December in marriage.) She is not overtly intelligent, however she does have a sharp mind and quick wit, though admittedly simpler in scope to my own (this is merely through perception of course, one can not see into others' minds, she could be hiding genius level abilities!) She can't cook, but I can. I can't seem to organize or keep things tidy, however she can. We compliment each other. These traits have kept us together, and kept us generally happy for all this time.
I love you honey!
You complete me, you really do!
To Maureen:
my lovely wife
Sincerely
Your Best Friend, Lover, Confidante, Harshest Critic and Greatest Supporter - all wrapped up in one loving bundle…
